Yeah that's right, after about a million years procrastination I'm finally coming to a Midwest near you - especially if that Midwest is in fact the Midwest of the United States. I finally signed my life away earlier today (and spent a bunch in the process... my bank balance looks a bit sad now ) to come and stay in the wonderful city of Chicago, a trip I've been talking about taking for ... a while now? Yeah.

Nowwwww, what this means is... if you're in the Midwest area (or at the very least will be between the 23rd of February and the 28th of March then drop me a line. I know there's a bunch of the older deviants rocking around that area (`d1st0rt3d, `fusionrock, `frail, `Cassed, ~SawdustProphet etc) who it'd be pretty kick-ass to meet, but, being the obnoxious and unlearned ass I am I don't know too many of the newer people... or even really US geography. At any rate, leave your name or something and I'll try organise some kinda mini-meet or some shit... there's too many cool kids around to not. Plus, I wanna expand my horizons and meet cool people while Mandy is being educated!

It's gonna suck not being able to get into bars and stuff.. I don't drink heavy anymore, but it'd be cool to be able to say that I went into a bar on my holiday and had one or two with the locals Ah well, I'll make up for it with photos and stuff.

I'm too excited to really express... it's finally happening after so much fucking heartache and trauma... I cannot believe it and still won't be able to even once I arrive... just wow...


So yah. If you're in the area, come say hello or I'll cry like a bitch. HELL YEAH I WILL. 23rd of February until the 28th of March, write them down boieeee. Be there or be a fucking jerk.

Well holy shit, hooooooooooooly shit. In my somewhat sleep-inhibited daze (I say "somewhat", I really mean "completely") I realised that it's the 18th of January, which means that I've been around this place for another year - but this one is much more special than all the other ones because it marks 5 years that I've wasted 'round this place - half a decade. There's only one site I've been going to longer, and I only bothered to actually get an account for it late last year even though I'd been visiting since 2000... kinda tells you something eh? It's kind of scary when you look back in hindsight and realise your entire adult life and the majority of your adult experiences are in some way linked to this place, or at the very least have some stemming affiliation to it... a majority of your friends and those you interact with, the experiences with the people you've met... it's just hard to fathom that I've spent a quarter of my existence around here. I've met wonderful people and I've met complete fuckheads - all in all, I've just met people who have shaped me.

To break the trend I'm not gonna name names, but thank you to all of those who have made my tenure special - I'm sure by now you all know who you are. It's been life-changing, and I'm glad it's happened. You're all wonderful.
