The Wheel of Brisbane is a 60-metre (197 ft) tall transportable Ferris wheel installation erected as part of the 20th anniversary of World Expo 88 and the 150th anniversary of the State of Queensland 1859–2009 celebrations.
It is located at the northern entrance to South Bank Parklands, the transformed World Expo '88 site by the Brisbane River. The ride opened in August 2008. It was initially scheduled to be an attraction of South Bank from 2008 to 2010 but has now been extended to remain until 2012.
